It's our goal to create a nurturing experience for students and their families. In the classroom, caring teachers challenge students to excel academically and grow in character. Students find a safe environment where they can both learn and build lasting friendships. Riverview is not just a private school. We are a Lutheran school that is a vital part of our overall church ministry to children and their families.
It's our goal to help students become life-long followers of Jesus Christ in order to equip them to live successful lives in His world and prepare them to spend eternity with Him in heaven.
OUR SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
Riverview Lutheran School provides a quality Christian education ranging from three-year-old preschool through eighth grade. As a Christian school, we provide daily instruction in the truth of God's Word and promote the Lutheran faith. In addition to this, all the core areas of learning are presented in the light of God's Word; the child is taught to behold the guiding hand of God, the Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier, as shown in the creation of the word, in the course of events, in history, and in the entire life of every individual. It is our promise to rely upon the Word of God as the only sure foundation for all teaching. "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." I Corinthians 3:11
