February 2022 Building Project Update

In January the Building Committee continued meetings with Keller Construction to refine our goals and ideas for the expansion project. Keller presented the committee with a first draft of a 14,500 square food expansion of the school and church facilities. The expansion includes five new classrooms, additional storage space, an expansion to the narthex, multi-purpose meeting/cafeteria space off the west side of the sanctuary, and plans to add parking on the west side of the building to go with a secondary church entrance there. Next steps for the committee this month include working with Keller to refine the initial draft proposal and creating an initial cost estimate. We are also looking for members with applicable skills, who may be interested in working on parts of the expansion project.
