After months of prayers, planning, and preparations, a special Congregational Voters Meeting was held on Sunday, October 9, to discuss and vote on a recommended expansion project and financing proposal.
Based on pledges, gifts, and available designated funds, a building addition and renovation plan of up to $3 million was presented and approved by the congregation. Plans include five classrooms, an expanded fellowship hall/bible study space, and kitchen renovation.
We praise God for opening the hearts of his people to support this expansion of our ministry and we pray for his blessing on this ministry project as it moves forward under his blessing.
The Building Committee will continue to work with Keller Builds to finalize details of the building plans and secure necessary approvals and permits, in hopes of beginning construction by January 2023.
The Capital Campaign Committee will continue to work with the James Company on follow-up and communication about financial pledges.
The Board of Stewardship will continue to work with lenders to get final approval of the loan(s) to finance the project.
Gifts toward the Growing in Grace project, whether pledged or given without or in addition to a pledge, may continue to be made through offering envelopes or online giving using the "Building Fund" line. Those interested in giving gifts other than cash (e.g., stocks, investments, charitable distributions, real estate, estate gifts, etc.) should contact the church office.
Please pray that God blesses this effort, as together we grow in grace to his glory!
